Our name says it; we are a team of business owners or individuals working for ourselves and members of the Voice of Hope Christian Church. Our mission statement defines what our ministry is really all about and that is to Seek God, Support Each Other, and to be Useful in the Church.

Jesus is quoted in the Gospel of Matthew 6:21 ^“For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also” and further in Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness…” Seeking God is just that. Regardless the state of economies or fields of expertise, days of a typical business owner or of a person working for themselves are packed with demands often requiring immediate attention and more often than not there aren’t enough hours in a given day to address them. By Seeking God we are seeking His wisdom in coordinating activities of our business, family, and spiritual lives in a healthy balanced way that is pleasing to God and beneficial to those around us.

Philippians 2:4 “Not looking each of you to his own things, but each of you also to the things of others.” Supporting Each Other is just that, being considerate of needs of other team members. Our monthly Business Meetings is a place for members of our team to connect, discuss needs or concerns, share testimonies, and get inspired. Our Friday Morning Prayer Breakfasts is a way our team serves business owners of other churches in the area. All are invited to this prayer breakfast held monthly together to lift our voices to God and to share a cup of coffee afterwards. Educational seminars and/or conferences serve as a way for us to keep up with changing business trends, as well as new laws and practices; such are open to business owners from other churches in the area. Matthew 25:15-16. “And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability...Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.” Useful in the Church is just that. We volunteer in our church with talents God has enabled us with. Through expertise of members in our team we offer classes on topics such as and not limited to: use of technologies, writing resumes, employment search, matching skills and exploring careers, information on how to start a business, English as Second Language, Spanish Language class for those going on mission trips to Mexico, or South America. Our team sponsors various projects within the church such as Live Video Streaming of church services, supporting missionaries in different parts of the world, and others. “But let all who take refuge in YOU rejoice…Spread YOUR protection over them, that all who love YOUR name may be filled with joy.  For YOU bless the godly, O LORD, YOU surround them with YOUR shield of love.” Psalm 5:11-12.
